My spiritual gift is having bad days

well.  we've been in gilmer, tx since wednesday night.  we ate some mexican food and watched a lot of tv.  we got up this morning and got just outside of tyler, tx just to receive a phone call from forney ( where we were headed) saying the concert was cancelled.  I am at this point thinking that i could have been at home with my wife since about 11 wednesday night and am feeling like i'm in a scene from Spinal Tap.  

so....concert cancelled.  we still have to be in dallas tomorrow morning.  we're only an hour from dallas at this point.  so...we go on to dallas to fix problem #2.  yesterday my macbook's hard drive went out.  the mac specialist on the phone comforts me with "man, this sounds bad"  thanks osama for the encouragement.  

we get to dallas noon ish.  mac has an appointment for me at 5:00 pm.  we kill some time with weston brown.  mac guy tells me 4 days and then come back to get it.  i'm not from dallas..so they cant fix it.  crap.  i wink at him (just doing what it takes)  and he had the new hard drive in by 8:00 pm.  MAC comes through and Bryan the Mac nerd man makes things happen!  free of charge!

Now...9:00 no where to go...no where to sleep...we're waiting on a phone call saying we have a roof for our heads.  If tomorrow isn't better, i'm done.  i'm going to move to new orleans and be a male stripper on bourbon street.
